Hi, I'm Chelsea!

I’m a speech-language pathologist who specializes in accent modification, pronunciation, and professional communication. Since 2022, I’ve helped hundreds of professionals refine their English clarity and confidence, and I absolutely love sharing my passion for clear, effective communication with others.
I’m Canadian, so you might catch a hint of my Canadian accent now and then, but my training focuses primarily on the Standard (or General) American accent. I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, and I’ve had the privilege of living across several provinces in Canada as well as in the United States. These experiences, combined with my Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University, have shaped the work I do today.
While I enjoy the technical side of linguistics and pronunciation, I’m a laid-back person who believes learning should always be fun and relatable. I aim to simplify complex concepts so they’re easy to understand and practical for everyday use. My sessions and writing are filled with common North American expressions and idioms, which I love teaching to my clients. Most of all, I take pride in being my clients’ biggest cheerleader, motivating them to keep practicing and growing.
The relationships I’ve built with my clients are what I cherish most about this profession, and I’m so excited for you to join me in exploring the world of accent modification through this blog. Have questions or a topic you’d like me to cover? Don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to hear from you!
